About Wrentham Reads

wrentham-Reads-oval-V-REVISEIn 2012 as part of Wrentham Reads, a town wide reading program, the residents of Wrentham, young and old, enjoyed the poetry, as well as, the life and times of Emily Dickinson, who affectionately became known amongst them as ED.

Hence Wrentham Reads was born!

Take a look back at the ED adventures that were had by all at http://wrenthamreads.shutterfly.com/wrenthamreads10-29-2012

Wrentham Reads is a literature based program which features special events that take place throughout the community.  Events are designed by community volunteers for all age groups with one author or one book as the theme. A shared experience and an appreciation for the author are gained through the events and individual participation in Wrentham Reads. Although the program is titled Wrentham Reads we encourage all members of the King Philip community and surrounding towns to participate.

For 2013 Wrentham Reads will feature the work of William Shakespeare. Visit our Events Shakespeare 2013 page for updates on the special events for this year. The organizers hope to reach out to all age groups and ultimately encourage them, in their own way, to share in an appreciation for Shakespeare. Wrentham Reads will kick-off on February 28th with An Evening All About Shakespeare at Dean College, and activities will take place throughout town during the months of March and April and May.
